Agree with you on the dragging out part, this is cut and dry with no other issues for them to my knowledge to deal with.Don't want to make to many waves just yet or we might see things go even longer and I will still have to make my payments to the lender whether I have the truck or not. I am considering a consultation with the family lawyer but that is money out of my pocket that I really do not have. I will hold back the name of the insurance company for the moment. Yes the wife works for the broker here and I will be prepared to bring them into any dispute coming our way,but only as a last resort. Thinking back to my first conversation with the adjuster,he was more than happy to make things right which comes to me as one of those too good to be true deals. I generally don't fall for that crap so I was on the cautious side of things right off the line. They take our money and work us over not once but twice to feed the corporate dollar greed,we look outstanding in the eyes of our share holders. Not sure who is working for who here, thought because I pay the premium for the service, they work for me. Apparently I am either old school thinking or very miss informed or extremely stupid.
We had hail damage claim in 2007 on our 2003 6.0 and this 2007 6.0 to the total of about $5200.00 with no problems what so ever.Felt we were treated fairly back then.
Well I am going to try and keep this thread going. Today I still have not got any kind of correspondence from my adjuster nor has our agent who we had asked just to make an inquiry. I will give a little, if there is a serious family matter sort of issue preventing contact with us,only fair. My body shop has advised me the damage estimate has gone up a few dollars so that an adjustment needs to be addressed. Apparently they feel my hood was stomped on,bent down and created previously unseen damage as well as the arm rest that was slashed seems to have almost doubled in price. Well, I asked should the hood maybe be replaced,Well no we already have 5 or so hours into it and it would likely be around a $1000.00 to replace it. Says I, well I do know that it can run that high as I bought this hood to replace my hail damaged stocker. The hood manufacturer in the US would not sell directly to me I had to by through their Canadian distributor. Vancouver BC to Edmonton AB to Calgary AB to High River AB... Just hair under $1000.00, Got it through my Ford dealer shipped for $630.00. It seems that when I suggest a cost saving it's like I'm stealing something from them. Who's ripping off who.I get very ticked off hearing of insurance rates being increased for the amount wasted spending. I think cranky is moving very quickly to and past frustration, I am pushing the body shop tomorrow to have the exterior done by the 28th, I am picking it up hell or high water, there are 3 interior parts to install and I will do them myself when the parts arrive.
Went to the body shop this morning and surprise surprise my truck was sitting there with the damaged doors off and the hood on the horses. The boys are confident all the parts will go to paint today and are pretty confident I will be picking it up on the 27th. Might be missing a couple of interior parts as they have to come out of the US. But should be able to get it into the detail shop before the end of the month. I finally received a call from my adjuster, actually made some headway on my garage door opener 50/50 split on a new system, my damaged tool box I will repair and hand in receipts for new locking system and lid repair, compromise on the rear tires that they enjoyed on the trip. And a few more things. My head continues to pound.
I have been in touch with the Ravelco distributor here in Canada, and for sure looking into installing the system as well as possible other opportunities with them. We will see shortly. Any way it's a grind at best.
Got the truck back today,my body shop did a really sweet job of repairing the dings and the hood. Detail shop did a really fine job of cleaning up the thieves mess inside as it smelled like who knows what, but have an idea. First time I have been able to drive the truck since March 10th. All seems not to bad with the exception of a hard pull to the right. The right side did have a bit of damage so maybe took a hit on the right front end steering. Going to put new tires up front tomorrow and then a hit the highway and see. RCMP tell me one of the door *****,wait a minute the door **** is useful, spineless lazy leeches to our society will be in court in the next few weeks, pretty much will figure that he will be handed a minimal stay in the crowbar hotel again at my expense as well as others and be out to repeat his deeds. I am going to try and be in court for this if at all possible. So it will be battery removal until I get things sorted here. Got some totally unexpected possibilities coming up mainly due to this experience. See in a few weeks.

Are you talking about being an installer in your area? If so let us know what the requirements are. The website says that you need to make an "investment" to be a distributor. It took the guy about an hour in my drive to install the plug.
I have been in talks with the Canadian Ravelco distributor as well as his representative here in Alberta. All is, on going and in the very very early stages, install and sales and learning as I go. See what happens no guarantee.
