That's an electrical code. You might want to pull the valve cover and check the coils and wires on the injector and the FICM plugs and/or harness again. You can run the truck with the valve cover off. It doesn't squirt oil everywhere like a Chubby. Also, you could still have a bad FICM even though the voltage is good.
I will put it in cylinder #5 tomorrow, if problem still exist's I will have my FICM sent out and have it gone through and repaired? Even though it seems to be alright, and if that still doesnt fix it then im stumped
Wait until you get the old one out before unpacking the new one. You may find that it's wiring or something simple and you may be able to return the new one.
Well, today I came home from work still light out, so I poped the hood, checked #5, and wouldn't you know it, it was barely on.....
So problem solved right? I wish.
Plugged it back in fully and still same issue, for haha's I unplug it fully and same issue?
Injector buzz is STRONG and LOUD.
So...I shouldn't waste my time with the injector or its worth a shot?
How long did you run it after plugging it back in and did it throw a code? It might be just need to run or it might have truly failed. Did it run smooth or miss? Check the connector pins and see if one is bent or damaged.
Yes. It still ran the same. I didnt run it for lOng just because cheezit told me it wouldn't be good.
I think it truly failed. I'm going to replace it tomorrow. If the same problem exists. My ficm will he sent out for repair along with a new injector harness.
No one ever posts up there results of there repairs... this is very annoying. Wouldnt believe how many there is like this all over forums.
Also begs the question, how many accounts are there hear where someone signs up looking for a quick fix and gets it fixed and leaves for good or gives up and takes it somewhere else.
I had the p0273 code pop up and truck ran like crap. Read this thread and went out to check the connector on top and sure enough it was disconnected. Popped it back on and the truck ran smooth again. I just wanted to post my success from your guys help. Thank you.

Presumably the barrel connector that is exposed on top of the injector.
Just adding this for some closure, it would stand to reason that OP did find success by replacing the injector, as if it had been more complication he may have come back to the forum with that. I believe the injector can fail in such a way as the buzz test still works, Broken tip or clogged or something of that nature.
Unfortunately, there's too much closure needed with this thread. It began in 2011, and includes issues raised by numerous posters about various situations because...people keep raising it from the dead...because it has that search friendly title. Of course, the regulars know that code# is just one of 8 that are just alike, so elevating one really serves no purpose, but newbies don't know that. IMHO, it's best to just let this die.
