I have an 05 F450, 287000 miles. 47000 on a new shortblock, heads, studs...the whole game$$$
A few days ago while driving I crossed an overpass that is in bad shape. The bumps are terrible
Exactly after the truck lost power.
I towed it back to my shop and had friend scan it.
Came up with this;
Injectors 2, P0267 low circuit, 3, P0267 same, 5, P0273, same, 8, P0282, same and ICP 0.24 - 0.25
I unplugged the ICP and it runs just as bad, no oil visible
All of the injectors were new from ford when I did the motor
The 6.0 is all stock except for EGR delete and an SCT tune set on Tow Safe, 60 hp
Can a severe bump damage 4 injectors at the same time or am I looking for something electrical?
I just cant see that happening.
Thanks!!
Middle FICM connector came unplugged, either due to being improperly plugged in in the first place during previous repair, and/or broken locking tabs failed to secure connector properly to FICM.
DING,DING!!! You hit it right on sir! It was the center plug!
Thank you so much! I have a lot of knowledge on these but sometimes those of us know enough to drive ourselves crazy.
I was sure that there was no injector failure as it happened over very rough road.
Thank you again!!!!

The first FICM plug (the one facing the rear of the vehicle), is the one that controls cylinders #1, #4, #6 and #7. The second FICM plug (the middle one), is the one that controls cylinders #2, #3, #5 and #8. The third FICM plug (the one facing the front of the vehicle), is the one that links the PCM to the FICM.
