Interesting thing about that "smile". I think he is actually showing passive aggressive and bareing his teeth, because he thinks discipline is coming. Only humans would interpret that as a smile. That's about as much aggressive as most Labs can muster toward their master.

We travel north to fish, and it's still a little early.
I'm not much of a fisherman any more, Will. I only do one thing, fish the eastern Sierra streams for planter trout. Opening day is the last Saturday of April, and we will be heading for Big Pine. Throughout the summer we will probably take one weekend a month and head up there.
Will, have you been to the new shooting range in Vegas? It really looks like a nice place. Even a big FHU campground.
No, I haven't been out there yet. I need to take my FIL and check it out. He has worked in a gun store, and been a range officer since he retired. We're well armed.
When we were at the Longstreet for the poker run and your FIL saw me dry fire my Model 77 I thought he was gonna beat me over the head with it.
Is he ex military? They really don't like dry firing. For many reasons I suppose, but I think it was influenced by the Springfield. It was bad for breaking firing pins. IMO you can snap that Ruger all day long and never harm it. I always snap my rifles before putting them up.
For military, it makes sense. It's loud, it is dangerous in the unexpected event the chamber is charged, and it can be hard on the equipment.
We hunted with one pig guide who really hated to hear pins snap. For some reason it scared the crap outta him. But most guys like to know the chambers are empty before jumping in the truck.
Most modern bolt rifles, if you hold the trigger while closing the bolt handle, it will uncock silently.
Morning Steve. Yeah, it is. Another thing we talk about, is the complete lack of knowledge, and the lack of research, by the media. It's incredible, some of the mis-information that they've put out.
