Hey Cliff, did you ever get the exhaust finished up with the flowtechs?

I did. Got the flowtechs, still did not fit right but were way better than the hedman's. Had the exhaust shop bend the drivers side out a bit because the collector was to close to the trannt pan. After 800 bucks into the exhaust. The truck sounds great!

I run Flowtech 12560 with my 460 using L&L mounts, ZF5, NP208. Fits fine and they're cheap so good enough for what I need. Think I might be able to squeeze a NP205 front shaft past the collector if I do some creative bending.

With my exhaust setup, i dont feel a bit more power, especially with the low range.

I run Hooker long tube headers with a C-6 on a 351W and they fit fine no issues.

I have been running Stan's Headers on my 84 with the 460 and ZF without problems for about 4 years with Minnesota winters. They are built heavy duty. I used their thick copper gaskets and they seem to work great. I lost one gasket on the drivers side because of header bolts that kept loosening. So I would definitely recommend a set of locking header bolts.

The only problem I had with fit up at the time was that I had to modify my sway bar bracket and maybe clearance the frame a little bit. But the frame has also been beat badly since it is a plow truck.

Headers for Ford, Mustang, Pinto, Bronco, Cougar, Ranger, exhaust parts for home built do it yourself automotive headers.
