I just got headers on my truck. 302 with a C4. And my transmission cooling lines are in direct contact with the passenger side header. Has anyone else run into this problem? What did you do? or does anyone just have ideas as to what I can do?
Do you think it would be a good idea to replace the lines with rubber ones(ones meant for tranmission coolers of course) in the places that I need to get away from the header?
Also, new problem has arised, it would appear that from the 'projected path' my header would appear to run me right into the crossmember for the transmission. Should I just get a pipe that will bend down then go straight to the back? or any other suggestions?
P.S. You may want to search my old post about headers, it should help a lot! I have had
pipes bent to go over, and also under, they always seemed to rattle on that crossmember!
