We bounced up to $4.17 a couple days ago. NOW, we're ALL THE WAY back down to $4.11, so clearly the crisis is over.
Anyway, getting ready to pull the camper this weekend to my camping spot about 230 miles away... so, I'm mentally getting ready for the 44 gallon fill-up, hoping I don't pass out while pumping it. With my V8, I'll get around 7.5 to 8mpg IF I'm lucky. Sheesh.
Well they just said on the radio here that they are at midnight jacking the price up 2c/l or 8c/g overnight again so we will go from $1.389/l to $1.409/l to $5.636/g!!! And Still Not a single word from any politician here about the huge increases and why we are so much more inflated versus even the us!!
What really bothers me is food is going to go up.Airfare and anything and everything else.
I really look forward to atv riding with the kids ,which I have to trailer 2 or more hours away to get to some good riding areas.Probably burning $100 in gas! Also drive 30 miles one way to work.
It's going to be a expensive summer.
There are so many speculations on why oil keeps going up and up.
One I hear is investors buying into oil stocks driving up the barrel another is Obama refusing to drill in other countries or drilling new places in the USA. The higher demand is a crock. Oil and fuel distributers like mobil making record profits. Usa keeps taking every dollar it can from the consumer,-working class.=not good
I just filled up today at $4.189 a gallon. $171.44 total. I still won't get rid of my truck no matter what
If you got a smaller truck to save some gas you still would be paying a lot for gas with that truck compared to last year so you might as well stay where you are at unless you go to a little Ford focus and then you would be short one truck......................so right, just keep it.

$4.41 regular
Yes Obama is refusing to drill and it is mainly because of the cries from the people in the south that were affected by the spill. I hope Trump gets in power and drills like crazy like he wants to now. (Someone with some business sense). The speculations of rising prices are just an endless bunch of excuses that have no merit. You never hear them say; Oh, we have too much gas now because people are driving less due to the bad economy so the prices are going way down. ............come on. Drilling in other countries to supply our oil is like selling nukes to Afganistan.
Its amazing the record profits these gas companies are getting, and to top it off Exxon (or Chevron don't remember) paid ZERO in taxes (along with GE and a few more big name companies). I wish my $24,000/year income (student still haha) was tax free!
BP had a 5.6 BILLION $ profit since the spill.
When are we as Americans gonna grow some ***** and get this corrupt government out of here. I'm a Republican, but have (somewhat) an open mind to things. Stop giving the rich more tax breaks and make them pay MORE in taxes! I'm sorry, but if you have MILLIONs-BILLIONs, I think you can afford to put some money into this country. This whole Rich getting Richer and the middle class shrinking at a high rate is rediculous.
Alright time for me to get off my soap box and go back to the Super Duty forums...
