I paid $3.999 last week for Diesel here in Central Fl.
Many places are 4.099 or higher - but some are below 4.00 still.
I've found local fuel prices on-line and been saving about 10 cents
a gallon vs. the normal place.
I hit a Texaco station - and it had the high capacity hose -WOW!
what a time saver putting in 40 gallons @ that station!

I'm still spending less total $$$ each month than
with my '97 Tahoe. I love my Ex + PSD.

Like Misky said: I have been paying 3.999 for fuel in North Orlando. Mostly Shell stations around here. Haven't found the high capacity hose yet but I have not been running the fuel tank past a half of a tank as I dont have the ability to take out a loan to fill up the truck

My fiancee drives the Ex more than me, and with the way she drives, she's probably getting 12mpg. I drive it and probably 15-ish city, 17-18 highway. The fun part will be when it needs a new transmission and I give her the bill. Drive it like a racecar, pay the bills like it's a racecar.

I dumped $128 in mine the other day and was 1/2 tank down at $4.05 a gallon.

I just drove from right outside NYC to GA with a couple detours it was about 1000mi. The 'low fuel' light was on when I left -----> and is still on, I used about 2 gals of diesel for this trip. Ok, I did use a little over 60gals of WVO - but I get most of it for free...

The trip computer really wigs out when low fuel light comes on. I know it told me '40 miles to empty' for at least 200mi.

Alright, I'll stop rubbing it in. I saw diesel from $4.21/gal to $3.94 in NJ, PA, VA, WV, TN, NC and GA. Not a big spread really. I never notice how much gas is...

I'll be honest, I don't even look. There's nothing I can do about it, it is what it is. I just swipe my card, start filling it, and sit in the truck til I hear a click. That's 75$ and a wee under half a tank. Yesterday I paid $100 cash and got just over half a tank. Most of the stations around here don't advertise diesel on their big boards, so unless you take note of it at the pump you don't know, and usually I'm to busy trying to figure out how to use the credit card machine.

I have to appologize for all this..lol

It seems every time I buy a gas hog vehicle, a world event occurs that drives up prices.

1. I started driving...Gulf war 1
2. Bought my f150 supercrew...Gulf war 2
3. Bought my Lightning...Katrina
4. Bought my Expy....World financial collapse
5. Bought my Excursion...The middle easy starts protesting themselves

I might have to buy something all electric next to stave off armageddon

we're hitting the $3.75, $3.79, even saw a $3.81 (but that was as a private, no ethanol station)

that was all for the cheapo stuff too.

i just keep poking along in my little honda accord at 32-35mpg. you know some people call it selling out, bowing down to the trend (gas savers), what ever you may call it...... it was a $500 car, RUNNING like a top, i use 6gal of gas a week......and you know the money that i save each week gets put in a "rainy day fund" that allows me and the family to top off the EX, fill up the atv's, and drive out of town to go spend a family day riding in the woods!! if i was driving my Ex every day, the bikes wouldn't leave the shed, and we would rarely be able to go out on weekends........

Ethanol is killing us! I lost 2mpg on every vehicle I own.....and we're all paying $3.89 for this crap. Another govt-green screwup IMHO. It needs stopped now, Mike.
