Today was a really nice day for a ride. I rode to a junkyard, pulled the head off a Cavalier to fix the latest sale project, and rode home with it strapped to the back of the bike. Got some weird looks, especially from the other riders.
I wish my MT250 was running better, I really need to go get a new carb. Once it'll actually behave at lower RPMs then I can go play in the woods too-
Is that mount St. Helens Tim? It just don't look like Rainier. But it's been a long time.
I was close to there when St. Helen blew. Was so cool in a way. Was a bad year for
fires as I was fighting them at the time. Had just put one out on St Helens and was heading for the Okanogen (sp) when she blew.
Had only been off the mountain a few days. Ya so I can't spell Indian words, even the Indians can't.
Just try to read a map of Washington, or any where in the pacific north west or Alaska.
Guy and his wife travailing in the deep south pull into a little town. They can't for the life of them pronounce it's name.
So they stop at a burger drive through and
ask the Girl. Just how do you all pronounce this place. And please speak slowly.
So she slloowlly said Dairy Queen.
It has been several years sense I was there but I believe the first photo is of Mt Saint Helens and the second photo is of Mt Rainer. I'm not sure if I can get this to work but here is a little video from atop the rock that was in the first photo. The Video starts and ends with Mt St. Helens, then Mt Rainer then at about 42 seconds into the video just above the rear fender of the KTM is Mt Adams it's hard to see but it's there.
