Angel Oak...John's Island SC...thought to be the largest oak east of the Mississippi...estimated to be between 300-400 years old...

I think you're right John. I assumed it's oak, but not sure. Home depot on sale 1x6? Lasagna wood? Curling ironwood? Tigerwood?

It's from a famous restaurant near Big Sur, CA.

This ones my favorite from the day. I processed it in LR to be a bit extra "moody".

Just got the 1975 (I dunno what year my copy is, they probably made them through the late 70's, if not into early 80's) Sigma lens and what a MINT copy she is too! It seriously looks like no one ever used it! I don't think I've ever bought a vintage lens looking exactly, and I do mean literally exactly, looking like brand new. I'm in love with this gem. First time out with her.
