birds !!!! public enemy no.1 !!!!!!!!! i clean a car or truck and 5 minutes later they all decide it looks like a poop depository !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i agree just after washing my xterra a couple years ago i had a grouse commite suicide on my car.. i was driving down the highwway and the bird hit my drivers side just between the front window and the second window and put a dent in the car and blood and feathers everywhere!! im so glad it didnt hit the window though!

 

I've never had a problem with these birds doing their thing on my car. I have thought about it though and decided if they start crapping on my car then I will quit feeding them. The finches don't really bother me though what bothers me is black birds crapping on my white truck in August right around blueberry season.

 

Mmmm, Grouse is good eats, almost as good as pheasant or chukar.

For me...It's not the Finches that are the problem...It's the thistle seeds that fall to the ground and grow!!! This reminds me, the next windy day I have to sneak outside and break the wifes feeder and blame the wind!!

The small bed was 5 feet on each side, the larger one was 8 x 6. I had to dig a trench all the way around them, through many a tree root.
