steering question

ok i know this maybe a dumb question, but i live in northern illinois, has anyone noticed with the really freezing temps, the steering is alittle harder, i checked power steering fluid all full, after driving for 10-15 min seemed easier, is it possible when sitting all day the suspension freezes up alittle?? thanks!

Well don't look at it as the suspension is freezing up it is just that the hydraulic fluid is a bit thicker when its cold so it doesn't more as well. Once the truck is running for a few minutes and everything is warmer it naturally is easier to drive. That is why it is recommended to allow vehicles to warm up for a few minutes before driving them in colder temperatures.
