I waited til the rain changed over to snow last night to fix the non-responsive starter issue. Quick replacement of the solenoid and all is well. Thinking of keeping a spare in the truck. I would get a spare ignition module as well but...I am upgrading!

Had class this morning, and am now CPR certified. Week one of class down, about 15 left to go.

Well, I got it home.

Jumper cables and welding a hammer across the solenoid posts managed to get the high drawing starter to finally turn over after whacking with the aforementioned hammer.

I'll bring it to the autoparts so I don't need to pay for the core.
