Blue spring!

I find it interesting that so many of us on here are trying to find a super duper cheap way of purchasing the blue spring when you can buy it from www.partsguyed.com for $56.00 which is cheaper than anything else we can or do for our trucks. Heck you can't change the oil for less than that, you can't change your fuel filters for less than that, and you can't fill the ole girl up for less than that.
The only thing I can think of cheaper is the high idle mod and the zoodad mod. You can also purchase the white box fuel filters from Ed for less than that but some of you won't use anything but filters that come in a Ford box so that won't work for all of us.
Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes or break through their thin skin with this post it was meant to be humorous but I realize its not always easy to see that in black and white type on a screen. Have a great day! Guess I am just trying to say these trucks of our are expensive!

I just ordered my kit from a local diesel garage here in S.Jersey. placed order last thurs. and got it on friday, installed over the weekend. $28.00 and no questions asked or any talk of being no longer available.

The stock spring is 1.192 inches long and 0.185 coils and the wire is 0.030 in diameter.
Also by putting 8oz of pressure on it it compresses to a length of 0.914 inches
I dont know anything about springs or who petersons is so in the absence of education I went with Ford for the spring.
