Blue spring mod, pressure dropping, is this normal?
I installed the blue spring kit on my 6.0L this past Thursday. Fuel pressure read 65.5 at idle. When I started it on Saturday fuel pressure was no higher than 63.5 psi at idle. By the end of a 150 mile trip yesterday it was at upper 62's. Today, Sunday, I am seeing just below 62 psi at idle. Long story short, seeing a loss of over 3.5 psi at idle less than 3 days after blue spring install. The install was straight forward and I have no leaks. Is this normal? Blue spring taking a set maybe?
Sounds like my experience. I've also noted my idle pressure varies slightly with outside temp, which translates to fuel temp. The cooler the temps, the higher the pressure. I've seen as much as 3 psi difference at idle between 30 degrees F and 65 degrees F.
I did my blue spring mod before the glow shift led fuel gauge this weekend, I wish i knew what the pressure change was before & after. Im @ 75-73 idling warm 25 degree's outside. When hammering with mat's slr+ extreme power max tune it would only drop to 68 psi!

That may be the highest pressure report I've seen with the updated spring. Except when it was installed wrong.

I certainly would. I think most of us are running it by now.

Probably. It is located with the upper fuel filter. Search "blue spring" or "fuel pressure" and you will find a bunch of info. Good idea to know where your fuel pressure is at. I finally added fuel pressure to my edge last week and saw that I was below 43 psi under load. Not the best thing. Blue spring brought it back to the green range.
