I remember a concrete rep dropping by on the job in Northridge.

Didn't bring doughnuts, however.....

But at least they were interested in the feedback.

Forecast is dry for you Tuesday!

That's a sad story. Happening to to many companies. I'm surprised walmart hasn't gotten into that market yet. Hope not.

I hope so too, but as long as there's no standing water in the footings I'll go for it.

Had a decent relationship with that company, always had great service whether the job was large or small, and their salesman Ron would usually stop by the job on the day we poured and bring a few soda's and a couple of doughnuts for everybody. I guess I'll just have to get used to a faceless entity now. Seems so many things are going that way...
It was called account retention. A thing of the past, sadly. Chinese donuts anyone?

I know most of you guys are south of LA - but please keep me posted if anyone hears of shops hiring towards the N end of LA county. :-) I'm normally too stubborn to ask for any kind of help (it's not in my nature)... but I figure it couldn't hurt at this point.

Rob,

Could you be a bit more specific as to the kind of "shop" for one who sometimes doesn't pay as close attention as he should?
