Definately know the feeling Steve. Broke my foot while wearing steel toes. Dropped a transmission on my foot.
Oh got my truck running today. Thanks to a lot of help from my neighbor. Took two charged batteries, a jumper box and my explorer with cables to finally start. It's still idling now for 40 minutes.
It's broken in three places...more like smashed, really. The foot's ok, and there's nothing that can be done for the toe other than to wait it out. Gotta go back next Wednesday.
Like most visits to Kaiser on a walk-in, the majority of time was taken up in waiting.

Happy to hear you got it back running. It's always a relief to hear it crank back up. (For some reason I get really neurotic and stressed when my truck is down.)

Ditto on that - sorry to hear about your toes Steeve. Hope you get patched up alright. Found the Kaiser posts to be most amusing.
For anyone else who's accident prone... a good friend of mine is a huge Columbian bear of a man, real macho type. When he got a tiny splinter in one finger... he looked unusually concerned... almost worried. When I started to pick on him for getting soft... he suddenly got very serious... held up his finger and explained "That's mama's fingers....", then smiled and walked away.
Yes, and the Brown administration is sure to appeal.
The legal reasoning behind the decision, called too vague, is a weak argument on face value, and leaves an opening for rewriting a bill. However, defining handgun ammunition is not so simple and it will be interesting to see what they come up with. Virtually every rifle cartridge has been used in a handgun. The only difference is popularity.
My prediction is that they will ask the AG to decide which cartridges are restricted. That could pass constitutional challenge, and is not a good thing for gun owners.

Yeah, I think Thompson Center has a pistol for every caliber ever made. Probably the only thing this decision did was buy time.
