Morning everyone!
Phil,
I can say I have only driven "thru" Shipshe on my way to the campground...I'm not even sure the wife has ever truly been there and she grew up in Fort Wayne where I grew up in Jersey...thanks for the recommendations though!
I really like that area of Indiana...

HAPPY monday morning to you all!
We got well over 5 inches of snow, took me an hr to get thawed out and to the base...to find out they closed it. So I am back at the house going back to bed haha.

Well it looks like I got that second greenie...!!!

Well yesterday was a bad travel day...and NOT due to the snow in the south...as we were sitting on the plane in Fort Wayne...one of the ground crew doing a walk about saw a chunk of rubber missing from one of the tires...I knew what the result was going to be...so on the diamond line with Delta and I got rebooked for a later flight ASAP...but the rebooked flight wasn't going to get me out of Detroit until 9pm versus my original 4pm...so when I got to Detroit I went standby on the 5:30 to LAX and got on...but instead of my cushy first class seat I normally have...I was stuck in the middle but at least I got to cali at about 7:30 CA time versus 11pm CA time...so it could have been much much worse...
Scott...you folks aren't used to the white stuff like that are you?...neither are the folks down in Atlanta!!!

As a sad aside...
Did you see the tragic shooting by that whacko in Tucson?
Not sure how many people noticed or heard this but the poor little 9 year old girl was actually born on 9/11...she came into the world on such a violent and somber day and was taken way too soon from this world in a senseless violent act...so very sad...death is too good for that SOB.
Did you see the lady that grabbed his magazine before he could reload...she was well into her 60's...a feisty gal for sure...and while she was grabbing the mag two dudes tackled him...what a sick sick person...
Prayers to all those families...very sad day in America for sure.
