just bought a 2010 , F250 diesel extended cab with 13000 miles on it. The trip odometer shows I'm averaging only 11.5 miles per gallon. New to the diesel truck but expected better, never drive it over 65 MPH

mpg

trucks in sig lol low of 5.6mpg high of 9.3mpg mixed driving low is beating on it and towing bow rider boat high is highway.

Towing camper in sig the worst mileage I've seen is 7 mpg. Usually I'm around 8.5 mpg towing the camper. Best empty highway mileage was right around 14 mpg.

03 6.0 milage

ok all need some input here trying to figure out what ind of milage i can expect to get trying to plan a road trip. i have an 03 f350 crew cab fx4 that i just got that has the 6.0 in it only mod is a cold air intake. im looking to tow a 2 horse gooseneck trailer about 350 mi empty one way and with a 1000 lb horse in it on the way back. what can i figure on getting for milage so i can figure out my approx fule cost. thanks in advance

Driving however I want pulling scrap in bed randomly and on utility trailer and car trailer. Drive 26 miles round trip monday-friday 50/50 seeing 9.2 pretty consistently. Highest was 10.6 lowest 4.5
