How is everyone doing starting wise. I am heading down in the early morning to vid my beast starting in about 20F. should be interesting! hope i dont jinx myself.
Truck caught me off guard starting it today good -4 Celsius (24.8F, for all you yanks), whole cab shook for a few seconds when it fired up, then it started purring like a kitten.
Finally tracked down the bad glow plug in my truck the night before and not a moment too soon!
Started it up this morning and was running on all 8 holes instantly. Might try a cold start in the morning just to see how it does because it's gonna be chilly tonight. Isn't it still november?? haha
My Dad's truck has been giving crap lately on cold start but I think I found the offending air leak and fixed some of the glow plug wiring that was falling apart......GM makes such lovely vehicles.....
A few days before that I did some checking on the ranger too and it seems to fire off ok. I'll have to remember to put some anti-gell in the tanks while I'm at it tomorrow. -10C seems to be when things get interesting and -12 is in the forecast with a good chance of snow when the pacific air finally does start rolling in again. They're calling for rain or sleet, but in reality when the winds change from conditions like this around here - anything can happen.
how cold in F does the fuel start to gel? do you put the diesel 911 in it or how do you keep it from gelling its supposed to get in single digits here to

Diesel fuel #2 should resist gelling down to about -10 deg. F (-23 deg. C).
i ageee rupe there somethin bout eating something you worked for that makes it taste so good and home grown ham and bacon is so much better than any store bought that you can get
Such savages. You are supposed to buy your meat from a reputable, certified supermarket where the animals have been killed in a humane manner according well established to internationally accepted standards. Its also worth noting that eating meat will become an increasing morally unacceptable act in the years to come as more realize that killing a defenseless animal for food is not only wrong, but unhealthy and unnecessary since a vegan diet is better suited to humans due to their primate physiology.
If you read through all of that crap before loosing your temper - you get a gold star LMAO.
Seriously though, happy hunting!

Sad part is, many fools out there actually think that way...tho I gotta admit a bullet in the head has got to be one of the most humane ways of interrupting a life cycle permanently, it's all over before they even feel it happening. Now if we could only retire the electric chairs and gas chambers and lethal injections, and bring back the firing squads...
