Anyone know what temp the heated seats should come on when using the remote start? I was testing it today at 32 - 34 degrees and they weren't coming on. However, my Yukon's come on less than 38 degrees.
Are they coming on for anyone? I would think 32 would be cold enough.
Well all I can really say is the answer you received on PSN is exactly what has been posted on here. That came straight from Ford literature so I don't know that you will find much better answer.
I'm guessing that your 32-34 was right at the threshold and that's why didn't come on. If you are that close, give it a few days and maybe things will get cold enough that they actually do come on.
When the vehicle is started using the remote start feature, the driver/passenger climate controlled seat activates in full heat mode when the outside temperature is less than 32° F (0° C) and full cool mode when outside temperature is greater than 80° F (27° C).
