did a coolant flush yeasterday and afterwards had an intermittant no boost problem. Now I have the exact opposite. very high boost all the time and constant turbo farts through the intake. im making 20 to 25 psi at 2000 rpm continuously. What the heck is going on? I did remove the ebp sensor when I removed the stat but it is firmly reconnected now. Would a bad ebp cause this? if I need a new one does anyone know a part number? is this a dealer only part?
Can you scan the truck and see if you have an EBP code?? I would suspect a wire or connector problem or possibly a bent pin. Did you possibly remove and clean the tube while the ebp was out???
The EBP sensor info is used by EVRT to control boost, or at least it used to be. Supposedly some trucks were flashed to eliminate the EPB sensor, but I'm not sure which ones. Mine had to be replaced this past spring and I have an April '04 build, for what that's worth. Not sure what flash I have.

2003 and early 2004's (production through 9/2003) had the EBP input eliminated. I believe though an EBP valve still needs to be in place and connected for proper operation - even in these early year models.
OP - the connectors can get damaged as well as a bad sensor (as npccpartsman stated) - look it over real well.
