EBPS Dissable

Thought maby that woudl be what was messing with my boost reading issue, i was reading some posts late last night, well i did it, could it be possible that the EBPS is so gummed up it wont even get a reading?

It might have a hole in the tubing if you are loosing boost.. I would remove it, clean and inspect it.. It pretty easy to remove.

Is it possible to be so gummed up to not even get a reading.. Yes

Effect boost reading..No, even if the tube was rusted away, I dont think it would be enough to really effect boost numbers. It would effect them, but not alot.. Sorry Phil, but thats my take.

EBPS won't cause boost issues, but the EBPV could...

Unless it's stuck closed, or partially closed. Unplug it, then make sure it's open by pulling the arm off and wiring it open. Not easy with the turbo on, but doable.

hmm never though of that one, so unplug it, and pull the arm out and wire it?

im getting nervous with all this stuff im unplugging, EBPS wastegate and EBPV is all that ok izzy?
