Im sorry to see what happened to your Ex. You can really bond with a truck in two months. I hope you make a good recovery with your injuries.

i just ran a carfax on the 2002 limited i'm looking at. looks pretty damn clean i must say. it came from OR so i'll be looking under it pretty good. its spent its last year 1/2 here in alaska.
i'm just wanting to get a new truck and get this all overwith, its so much BS and stress it sucks!
honestly it wasnt my first choice in shops, but since he said they work well with them i figured it may be a safe bet with all frame damage. i will NEVER take anything to chaz limited bodyshops ever again!

ya chaz does really bad body work also. good thing you didnt have them do it.

Yea my 2002 Excursion had a clean carfax.... since then cups are bad .... gaskets replaced and noticed it has a rebuilt HPOP on it....now its smoking like crazy on startup.....at least now I know what to look for under the hood of a 7.3

drumroll please! $12,034!!!!! if i keep the truck i would get $10,600. pretty damn good i think!
i'm going sat to look at better, test drive, and prolly buy the 2002 limited V10. i'm very excited as i want my truck back! or as close to it as i can get!

Can't complain about that $.
While still not replacing the amount of personal loss, and hassle, it does make you feel somewhat better.
Would it be worth it in Alaska to keep the old X and part it out as pcs. The engine it self should fetch a bit, and tranny, and, and..... or just sell to b-uno, as it sounds like he wants a second one.
