i'm looking at 6-8 weeks possibly, but i'll have my ex back in better then new condition!
i'm trying to get them to used a super duty grill painted black, paint my mudflaps gold to match...just some small things i wanted to do anyhow. i could not swing a '05 frontend atleast not so far. but i'm happy!
ok its been on the frame machine for 3 days and its just too far gone. it would need a new section of frame which has the et over $13k
so at this point the truck is a total loss, i'm going to see what offer they throw at me and i'm sure it'll be too low.
i found my replacment though! hopfully! 2002 V10 limited 4x4 102k miles. i saw it before its been detailed which i kinda like. it has almost new cooper ATR's looks like it was taken care of.
i'm going to have my truck towed back to my house tomorrow hopfully. remove all my stuff. if i can swing buying the new one and keeping my old one i will.
they dont have a set price on the '02 yet, $10-11k they arent sure. the windsheild will be replaced i'm sure. i saw the truck before it has been inspected or detailed.
it has no dvd and i cant part it out as i'm getting paid for it.
that 7.3 Ex is a Ex oilfeild truck. reason i know is the yellow/black striping is from my grandpas company. they sold that at auction about 2-3 years ago i remeber it.
the truck is at home today, finally, the bodyshop tryed stealing my battery! along with my good headlight and corner light...i was so pissed!
i'm removing my aftermarket stuff, then hopfully next week get the total $$ figured out and get a check on its way. i hope to buy my new truck this weekend if not before. going to test drive it tomorrow.

u should get it and put your interior in it to make it a limited!
the truck was towed to my house well i was at work, at first they told me i owed them $650 in tear down charges. i said uh no i dont USAA owes you. so i called my adjuster and told him to talk to them ASAP because its my truck, i have the title its registered to me and i'm having it towed off there lot..period. i got a call 5mins later saying its been fully relased to be and USAA paid the bill in full.
as i'm leaving work my dad calls me and says theres no battery in my excursion!!!! i said WHAT?! the bodyshop was about 5 blocks from my work i called them and said i want my battery and parts back and i want them NOW. at this point i was so friggin pissed i was fuming. i parked my f250 right infront of there front doors and stromed in and said I WANT MY GOD DAMN BATTERY NOW! turns out they had my airfilter housing, right headlight/corner(good) along with some other stuff. i got my stuff and left and told them i will NEVER tell anyone to use them ever again, and if they plan on stealing they did it to the wrong person!
anyhow, going to testdrive the new '02 tomorrow and make an offer. hopfully have it by the weekend. i should be able to get a decent deal on it since i have cash to wave in there face that brings prices down pretty quick.
