Ken Block’s New Ford Raptor Looks Even Better in the Dark

It’s not like our favorite pro driver needs another awesome Ford truck. But his newest Raptor is truly one-of-a-kind.

Professional racer, stunt driver, and all-round Hoonigan Ken Block is one talented guy. And he’s also pretty fortunate to have a vast stable of amazing rides. But while we obviously drool over all of Block’s incredible vehicles, we’re also more than a little envious. Heck, the guy already has a GT-powered Dentside and a Raptor with trax, to name a couple. Even his wife has a sweet restomod first-gen Bronco. But now, Block has added yet another truck to his garage – this 2017 Ford Raptor built by SVC Off-Road.

Block recently debuted the fully-built prerunner via social media. And needless to say, this thing is a beast. The suspension on this Raptor has obviously received a full makeover, starting with a new mid-travel setup with FOX 2.5 coilovers and 3.5 bypasses up front. Out back, you’ll find a v1 bypass rack with FOX 4.0s, SVC traction bars, and a Deaver Suspension +3 spring pack.

The exterior has also been heavily modified, with nary an inch ignored. It starts up front with an SVC Signature Mojave front bumper fitted with a Rigid 30″ light bar. A 50″ Rigid light bar spans the roof, and SVC also provided the rear bumper, this time a Baja V1. To ensure this Raptor goes as good as it looks, there’s a Stainless Works exhaust and downpipes, an SVC intercooler, and custom tune to up the ante.

One of the coolest things about Block’s new Raptor, however, are the paint and graphics. By day, this Avalanche Gray ride looks rather tame, save for the Hoonigan decals and stencils. But all of those extra goodies are done up in a black reflective repeat pattern that allows them to glow brightly at night. And the effect is obviously awesome.

As they say, some guys get to have all the fun. And it’s clear that Block is hell-bent on having all the cool Ford trucks in his garage!
