Gorgeous Final-year Ford Bronco Available in the FTE Marketplace

1996 Ford Bronco Passenger Front

Bronco is spotless, having lived its life in the south, but it still packs 4WD and V8 power.

While the Bronco nameplate will soon return to the Ford lineup, the last time that there was a new model was back in 1996. That was the final year for the big body Bronco, making them a hot commodity among enthusiasts, but with so many owners back in the 1990s and early 2000s driving these SUVs how they were meant to be used, it can be hard to find one in good shape.

Fortunately, forum member “SuperDad” has posted a 1996 Ford Bronco to the marketplace that has lived its entire life in the American south. As a result, the body is amazingly clean for an SUV that is 13 years old with over 125,000 miles, but unlike many trucks that have spent their lives in the warm climates of the south, this big Bronco has four-wheel-drive.

The Introduction

When the OP first posted his 1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer Edition to the FTE Marketplace, he offered up the following key details.

“Very clean southern truck, zero rust, 5.8L V8, 125k miles, leather seat, P/S, P/W, P/L, Tilt and cruise, A/C, Roll bar, etc.etc. Georgia Emissions just done 2 months ago!

1996 Ford Bronco Radio

The OP also included an array of pictures of the big SUV showing the vehicle inside and out, but his listing doesn’t mention the aftermarket radio, so there are even some features which go unmentioned.

Perfect for Everyone

If you have been dreaming of buying a big Bronco for a daily driver, this vehicle has all of the creature comforts such as plush leather, a modern sound system and power everything.

1996 Ford Bronco Interior

If you want a big Bronco to take to your local Cars and Coffee, the pristine exterior is ready for the cameras and if you want an off-road toy, this Bronco is equipped for almost any terrain. However, it would be a shame for someone to buy this clean SUV just to beat it up in the woods or mud, but if that is your thing, this Bronco should handle the task without any problem.

1996 Ford Bronco Cracked Dash

The biggest problem that we can see in the pictures is the cracking dash pad, but it comes with a carpeted dash cover that looks great, matches the floor and completely hides the cracks.

1996 Ford Bronco Cargo Area

This 1996 Ford Bronco is listed for $14,000, so this isn’t a cheap beater from the 1990s, but if you love the look of the big-bodied SUV and you are looking for a rig that looks like it just rolled off of the showroom floor, this FTE Marketplace listing might be the next vehicle that you park in your garage.

"Before I was old enough to walk, my dad was taking me to various types of racing events, from local drag racing to the Daytona 500," says Patrick Rall, a lifetime automotive expert, diehard Dodge fan, and respected auto journalist for over 10 years. "He owned a repair shop and had a variety of performance cars when I was young, but by the time I was 16, he was ready to build me my first drag car – a 1983 Dodge Mirada that ran low 12s. I spent 10 years traveling around the country, racing with my dad by my side. While we live in different areas of the country, my dad still drag races at 80 years old in the car that he built when I was 16 while I race other vehicles, including my 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and my 1972 Dodge Demon 340.

"Although I went to college for accounting, my time in my dad’s shop growing up allowed me the knowledge to spend time working as a mechanic before getting my accounting degree, at which point I worked in the office of a dealership group. While I was working in the accounting world, I continued racing and taking pictures of cars at the track. Over time, I began showing off those pictures online and that led to my writing.

"Ten years ago, I left the accounting world to become a full-time automotive writer and I am living proof that if you love what you do, you will never “work” a day in your life," adds Rall, who has clocked in time as an auto mechanic, longtime drag racer and now automotive journalist who contributes to nearly a dozen popular auto websites dedicated to fellow enthusiasts.

"I love covering the automotive industry and everything involved with the job. I was fortunate to turn my love of the automotive world into a hobby that led to an exciting career, with my past of working as a mechanic and as an accountant in the automotive world provides me with a unique perspective of the industry.

"My experience drag racing for more than 20 years coupled with a newfound interest in road racing over the past decade allows me to push performance cars to their limit, while my role as a horse stable manager gives me vast experience towing and hauling with all of the newest trucks on the market today.

"Being based on Detroit," says Rall, "I never miss the North American International Auto Show, the Woodward Dream Cruise and Roadkill Nights, along with spending plenty of time raising hell on Detroit's Woodward Avenue with the best muscle car crowd in the world.
