When the OP began making this F-150 his own, he started with some fixes and simple additions around the outside. This included a new lower front bumper grille insert, tinted windows and vent visors. He also removed some of the black paint covering the Ford oval in the grille, revealing the chrome word while leaving the rest black.
Next, he added brighter headlights and fog lights, tinted turn signal indicators on the exterior mirrors, a bedliner and a two-inch real leveling kit. He also added unique LED lights under the rear bumper, helping to light up the path at night when backing up.
As time went on, the OP added drilled brakes, a new cat-back dual exhaust system and Rancho shocks, as he sought a stiffer rife form his F-150.
Improving the Look
During the detailed upgrade story of this thread, the OP ran into an issue where the neighbor’s cat got onto the hood of the truck and scratched it all up, forcing him to get the hood repainted along with replacing the center decal. He also had the front bumper repainted, getting rid of the stone chips that had accumulated over the years.
