Tire Smokin Tuesday: F-350 Outlaw Edition in Action
This murdered-out F-350 lives up to its name with a brilliant on-street burnout.
This week’s Tire Smokin Tuesday comes to us from the YouTube account of Sky Wisecarver and it features a 2007 Ford F-350 Super Duty Outlaw Edition doing a short, smoky burnout. This footage was captured at the McMillen Tire Services car show in Zanesville, Ohio in October 2017, and the resulting cloud of smoke surely made this big truck a crowd-pleaser.
The F-350 Outlaw
Back in 2007, Ford Motor Company cooked up the Lariat Outlaw edition for the F-350 Super Duty pickup. This package included all sorts of gloss black paint, including the grille, bumpers, door handles and side mirrors, with a red stripe running down each side of the body. There were also some unique chrome bits, including the side step bars and the exhaust tip.
On the inside, the Outlaw F-350 came with black leather seats with red trim, black carpeting, a black center console and fully-blacked out plastic trim.
This package was only available with the Crew Cab and short bed configuration, as well as the 6.0-liter PowerStroke diesel engine and four-wheel-drive.
Outlaw Smokes the Tires
In the case of the 2007 F-350 Outlaw in the video above, it has a custom wheel/tire package, a lift kit and some engine upgrades. We don’t know the extent to which the engine has been modified, but the amount of black smoke pouring from the exhaust makes it clear that at least a few upgrades have been made to the engine.
In any case, this F-350 has gobs of torque, allowing it to do a smoky burnout for the spectators of the McMillen Tire Services car show. Even with the huge tires out back, this diesel-powered Super Duty easily roasts the rear tires, creating all sorts of white smoke while the worked engine creates a ton of black smoke.
