Thought Chevy was done with the bears, rocks & tool boxes? Think again.

If this headline makes you feel like you’re reading a news article from early 2016, you’re not alone. We at Ford Truck Enthusiasts thought we were done sharing silly videos of Chevy spokespeople throwing stuff in the back of Ford trucks. As it turns out, we were wrong.

This new commercial was recently shared on Chevrolet’s YouTube channel along with a new series of ads featuring football legend Howie Long. This particular video is a lengthy one that compares the Silverado HD against the Ford Super Duty and Ram Heavy Duty.

While the comparisons featured in the video are many, it’s the aluminum bed “durability” test that caught our attention. As seen in the video, an empty toolbox is dropped on the Ford truck’s aluminum bed and it punctures a pretty good size hole.

If you recall, we covered the aluminum issue in a previous post, proving the Chevy commercial wrong. What do you think about Chevy’s new claim?
