I am trying very hard to locate my EBPV sensor and the tube that collects soot which can be sometimes cleaned to improve performance. I think this could be a problem with my truck. Please help me find this
Hussler, you are THE MAN! I know that is something super simple but not knowing exactly what I am looking for in sensor/plug city I was having trouble. Looked at the pic and got it out in 90 seconds or less. It may not fix my problem but it is NASTY so it shouldn't hurt anything. If it does fix my troubles then I owe you big time. Thanks buddy
In some models that sensor its located in front of the HPOP reservoir not in the back like in that pic. IIRC thats the case in the Neal´s truck.
here is a pic of other truck:
Mine was like the first picture exactly. Pulled it and the tube, cleaned them, and reinstalled. Battery's chargin now so we'll see. Is a P0472 (exhaust pressure sensor low) referring to fault with the EBP sensor?
Also, I got a CPS like 9 months ago for like $150 and I found some the other day at O'Rielly's for $26 with a lifetime warranty. Why the big difference in price?

I dont know about the code you mentioned. The CPS has that price in the past, now they are cheaper.
