Depends on where you're located. Rural Southern and Midwestern areas
still have them, $100-150. The EPA has forced many boneyards on the East and West Coasts to close and in metropolitan areas $200-250 is a deal if you can find them. I recently sold a complete set, with valves, springs, rockers, fulcrums and nuts for $350 and was offered $450 the next day. I see theem go for $250 and more bare on ebay.

Ok,

Any Idea how much C9VE-A heads are worth. Are C9VE-A heads CJ or SCJ and what the difference between CJ and SCJ heads.

Thanks (I just picked up a set of C9VE-A heads)

C9 heads are standard 1969 production, small chambered with rail rockers and for all purposes identical to DOVE heads. What they're worth depends on your geographical location.

CJ/SCJ heads are DOOE-R casting number only, with larger valves and much larger ports. They usually start at $7-800/set bare no matter where you're located.

So there's no difference in the '68,'69, and '70 heads then?

1978 F-150 flareside. Primitive by todays standards but she was a jaw dropper back then. :-staun

I don't believe there are any major differences in 68,69 or 70 std. passenger car heads. I have 2 sets (one set on my current 466)(soon to be 3) of D0VE-C heads and I am in the process of buying a set of D0OE-R SCJ heads(bare). 1st set of D0VE's I picked up for $100, 2nd set was traded even for a set of D3VE's and 3rd set are on a 429(complete minus intake) I'm picking up on wed for $150. D0OE-R heads are going to be little more spendy.
