Just out of curiousity did you find the D0VE-A2A listed on ebay? There is a guy who claims to have them but really if you look at the rocker perches you can see that they are D3VE's. Just curious.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Jan-03 AT 06:51 PM (EST)]Yes...actually I did. So you're saying these are the D3VE heads??
Ahh...yes...now I see. I just went and looked at them closer. They don't have the studs for the rocker arms. They are the bolt down type. Thanks for the tip!

I asked him to look for the casting # on the side of the heads. His responce was kind of strange. He asked what kind of heads were typically better and I listed off the D0VE's and the D0OE's. Then he came back and with D0VE-A2A's. I told him he was lieing through his teeth. He didn't have the right rocker arm perches for that. LOL I never saw a response from him again. So that goes to show you people will try to rip you off if you don't know what you are looking for.
hey, you should go back to that auction and let the bidder know that he is bidding on something that isn't what he is hoping it is. atleast let the bidder or bidders know that they are getting ripped off. C.J.
I've seen posts on this forum from people who have bought C9VE heads and adamantly believed they were CJ heads because Tom Monroe incorrectly lists them in his book as CJ/SCJ/PI for '70/71. Beware the buyer.

I went and emailed the guy that bid on them. Don't know if he'll take my advice. He's the only bidder right now and it hasn't been retracted yet so I dunno....
Oh yeah....the guy that's selling them emailed me today saying "looks like 1973. D3VE A2A". I thought....yep....he's busted.
