I replaced that glow plug and checked the resistance
of the harness after I was done. All seemed well.

So what's going on? GPCM toast?

I may have an extra GPM hanging around. It would be a while till I get to it, but you can have it if you like.

Ok

PM me when you get down to it and let me know.

In the mean time if anyone has any other thoughts
don't hold out on us/me. Please speak up. and share
your ideas and thoughts. That way myself and other people
will learn new things and maybe be able to fix a problem
without breaking the piggy bank open.

I've had my share of faulty GPCMs that flagged codes for specific cylinders, so if it is the case with yours, it wouldn't be the first.

It just one more step into the Twilight Zone.
Today I go out after it sat all night and had to do
some shopping and things. Start the truck and the
CEL comes on during the prove-out then goes out.
As in gone, No more or what ever.

My question is why did it. I reset and cleared all the
codes last night. Even turned the key off and then back on
and it was still there last night. But after an over night
sleep it gone. What the hell is going on?

Twilight Zone
noun
1 a conceptual area that is undefined or intermediate : the
twilight zone between the middle and working classes.
• a sphere of experience that appears sinister or dangerous
because of its uncertainty, unpredictability, or ambiguity :
schizophrenia isolates the individual in a twilight zone of terror.
2 the lowest level of the ocean to which light can penetrate.

Edit - I just read your post above completely ............... (I missed the clearing the code part)

Wonder if it will come back just as strangely! If so, I might just live with it!

The plug I removed was showing 5Ω at the plug.
After I did the change I checked it and I know it was
less and the same as the others on the passenger side.
I forgot to make note of the new value. That is the odd
part about it. I will just have to wait and see if it comes
back or not.
