Purple power on paint

Does anyone know any tricks to removing purple power white residue spot stains from truck paint. I'm trying to use soap and water with some elbow grease but to no prevail. I was using cleaning some parts and like a idiot I forgot to move or cover the truck

CLR should work. "Calcium, lime, rust" remover. Try it in an inconspicuous area first

You may not get it off. Purple power contains a mild acid, which will remove paint if in contact long enough. The acid may have etched into your paint. Try some rubbing/polishing compound.

Car detailers use clay bars with dish soap to remove surface contaminants. After that step use a light cut polish and then a finish polish. I cannot make promises as I cannot see or feel the damage.

Tinman is correct. I have a lot of experience with the damage that industrial soap can do to aircraft paint. You will most likely have to compound it until you get passed the damaged paint.
