anyone have projector headlights?
I am looking at doing something to get more light. darn cars have brighter lights than the old trucks do on hi beam. I could go with HID but they are low beam only still brighter. I also thought about adding a light bar in the bumper and i know that will be bright but may get me into trouble. I drive areound now with high beams on and no one flashes me. Just goes to show how bright cars are now.

If ur want brigh headlights I’d buy a set of new clear headlights and pickup a set of cheap diy projectors on eBay and a hid set for 9007 and then get bulbs for the projectors trust me works great and not near as exspensve as other kits built 2 sets of headlights like that going on a year now no issues

The X-treme Vision bulbs are brighter at the cost of reduced life. Output is up at the legal limits.

Best thing to do is buy a hid kit with high and low there all over ebay but the high low option never seems to work with the bulbs you get in the kit then look up and find high low projectors on eBay get a mid range priced one most I’ve seen that are high and low with a shroud run a h1 bulb then buy a set of replacement h1 bulbs or whatever bulbs fit ur projectors you buy then just simply take ur new headlights and throw them in the oven on 200 for 15 minuets and remove them and leave the oven on slowly pry around the edge of the lense u may half to put it back in oven a few times once you get it removed you can start figuring out Home ur projectors will mount most the time you half to cut the outter original ring off that the original light sockets to and the ur projectors have a rubber oring type gasket on them you will put in and install the nut from the back then take and clean all ur original glue out of the seam of your headlights and I use the same stuff the put between metal roofs sheets to seal it roll it in a round like string and push the lense back on and put it back in oven for few minutes then remove push on the lense and your good to go I’ll try to post all the pics I have of the process but it’s fairly simple really

Two of those pics are from eBay there different projector options as long as there high low and have the hardware with it they will work with a bit of modifications to the headlight housing it’s self but is a worth while upgrade you can adjust them with your factory adjusters and there just as brigh as factory new cars if you do this modification you won’t regret it trust me

I can’t speak for those kits but I’ve read multiple threads on different sites and people have bought kits from multiple companies but I guess it depends on how much time a person is willing to put into it also you half to make sure you get a projector made for hids atleast that’s what i understand from everything I’ve read I just searched hid projectors on eBay also you can buy h1-h7 bulbs in hid
