ATF comming out of speedometer!
I had to purchase an aftermarket speedo cable to match my new c-6 to the original 1966 speedometer. Now atf is leaking from the speedometer. What the h..... !! Is there an o-ring or seal that has been ommited? 1966 F-100 Custom Cab ,390, c-6 auto , Holley 600 cfm. Lousy gas mileage!

Flip the cable end for end you got it in the casing "upside down" and the spiral of the winding is "augering the ATF out of your C6. . . .
There are no "O" rings et al when the cable is in right the augering action is the other direction.....

50/50 chance to get it right & it usually goes in wrong the first time. Gotta luv it because getting mad doesn't help.
