codes 632 and 628

codes 632 and 628

I was directed here to get help.
I have a 4.9 i6 300 1994 getting these codes 632 and 628 It runs rough- sputtering when the overdrive is on. No pulling power. I was hoping someone would point me in the direction I need to go to get this fixed.

Code 632 (KOER): E4OD - Transmission Control Switch (TCS) should be cycled once between engine ID and Goose test
Did you cycle the OD switch at the proper time?
Code 628 (CM): Excessive torque converter clutch slippage
Since this code is historical (Continuous Memory) it has occurred sometime in the past. I would suggest you clear the codes, drive the truck for a few days then recheck. If it comes back again then you may have a bad torque converter.
Have you checked the fluid level? What color is the fluid? Has the fluid been changed recently?
