E40D Help
Hello: I have problem with Tranny heating up on highway
only after a 15 minute drive or so. OD Indicater blinks
and then tranny shifts hard, banging in lower gears,
after truck cools all shifting is ok street driving.
No codes when checked. sounds electrical or could it be torque converter? anyone had this happen, or cure?

It could also be a mechanical problem that for some reason is not storing a code. Could be a bad torque converter.
I can't give you a definate cause though, sorry. So many things can go wrong it's just hard for me to say.
