I started a thread in the wrong place here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post13580672.
I was directed here to get help.
I have a 4.9 i6 300 1994 getting these codes 632 and 628 It runs rough- sputtering when the overdrive is on. No pulling power. I was hoping someone would point me in the direction I need to go to get this fixed.
Thanks.

Reason: missing info.
Since this code is historical (Continuous Memory) it has occurred sometime in the past. I would suggest you clear the codes, drive the truck for a few days then recheck. If it comes back again then you may have a bad torque converter.
Have you checked the fluid level? What color is the fluid? Has the fluid been changed recently?

Thanks for responding. I am used to doing the self test on my manual tranny. So I have to hit the OD button after the 3 flashes for the 6 cylinders? I will read up on it and retest and check the other things you pointed out and get back. Thanks.
