ok truck was running ok when it just died tach was still running at rpms has fuel pressure.spray it with starting fluid and it start and die (i know its not good for it but had to see) checked all the fuses too they all look ok. my first thought is IDM so i'm going out to try another one to see.whats you guys thoughts on it?if not i'll have to drag it home

any codes pop up? and cant tell if you said the cam sensor is good, but ill ask anyway. does the tach bounce when cranking? if it is and you have fuel pressure id say its the idm as well.

you positive that fuse 22 is good?
not sure where #22 is i looked at all of them
the tach was still reading rpms until i stopped be back later going to drag it home real quick
yep got it #22 is fine. someone is going to come buy and let me try his IDM after work to see if thats it if so i'll ebay one later on tonight

well changed idm's and she fired up.so i put mine back in just for S&G and it started up

I'd be looking real good for a wire that is rubbed through if it were my truck.
Last month my truck died. The tach was moving so I thought maybe not the CPS. The snap-on however read no RPMs so the tach CAN bounce when cranking and the CPS be bad but it isn't common.
