early 99 f250 problems
Hi all, I am having an issue with my truck. Starts ok, runs for a couple of minutes and then dies. Have to wait for it to cool down and then the process starts all over. I have the Powerstroke 7.3 all original with 144k miles and still on the original CPS. Thinking this is it, but not sure. Never had any problems at all with this truck until now. Any thoughts on this will be appreciated. Also looking for a diesel mechanic recommendation in or near Selbyville,De. Thanks

My 250 did that for a while. It turned out to be the fuel filter. Have you checked for any codes? When is the last time you changed the oil? When it starts is it running ok or rough?
