That it is.

And as always Scully was right on time...kept his mouth shut and let us savor the moment. I don't think we'll ever have another LA sports moment like that one.

Thanks Bill...I looked around on you tube and couldn't find a clip.

Took me a while to find that clip. I suspect MLB would like to keep it restricted. There is a good interview with Kirk on Youtube.

Did the A's have stupid looking uni's, or what?

Not quite as goofy as the ones they had in the 70's but yeah, they're pretty bad

We've got a wet track here this morning, too.

Time to change my oil again, and again Walmart has poor stock on Rotella T6. SFS had 2 gals, LH had none. Had to pay far too much at Kragen for 1 gal.

The Whittier Kragen is doing the change to O'Reilly's right now. Had a big crew rearranging the store and swapping out stock.

The WalMart on Carson St @ the 605 always has plenty of T6 in stock. I know that's a bit of a drive just for that, but if you happen to be down this way you might want to stop by there and stock up.

I use a 5W/40 synthetic in my diesel.

Supposed to be a good year for quail. We saw several coveys last weekend. One must have had 30 birds or more, but of course that was right in Bishop near the fairgrounds. You should get your butt up there!

Can't do it for a while. The last month and a half has seriously depleted my travel budget. Gonna try to get up to Northern Nevada for a few days in early December.

Yeah, I hear ya. My budget won't budge for a while either.

We sure saw a lot of quail though, just about everywhere we wandered. Many more than I ever recall around there. I really don't know how to hunt them effectively without a dog.
