Hey Bill, with all the new members(myself included) we should try another GTG! I would like to meet all of you ,when I get back into town...Although that wont happen until Dec, but just food for thought...
Good Late Afternoon Everyone. Bart we also didn't have any sky in the clouds today. We had a nice rain temps in the mid 60s. Just a beautiful day. My brother & sister were here yesterday & today. My sister is staying until tomorrow. I haven't seen her in 12 years. So we are headed to dinner with her & my mom.
wow I have a sister that I haven't seen in 21 years, hopefully another 20 or 30 more before I see her again!
in fact my daughters 4H leader went to school with my middle sister, and she (my daughter) didn't know which sister it was, I told her she had one guess and had a 33% chance of getting it right. she argued with me saying I only had 2 sisters! I guess for the last 14 years I forgot to mention my oldest sister. "clumsy me"

I think I may have figured out what was wrong with my poor truck. The mass air connector was not quite connected. Connector was connected, but the wire not some much..... What a PITA!!! But no more time to do anything tonight, gotta work early tomorrow.
Wonderful day today! Weather was nice with some forgiveness with a cool breeze! Clouds are finally starting to come in! Lots of lightening I am seeing too!
It was nice enough today, I actually got into the shop without cooking! Even welded in the new floor pans on the truck! No more snow coming through the floor boards... Wait.. it dont snow out here! LOL!

Yea, I had an out with my family for about 8 years. My brother kept trying to mend the fences, & Thank God he & I finally mended our differences, When I found out my Mom was having problems with her memory & is 89 years old I decided I needed to mend that fence & we returned home to help her stay independent as long as possible. A few weeks ago My brother in law showed up & he & I enjoyed a nice visit in fact he stayed with us a few nights & this weekend my sister came up & that fence is mending I hope. We have never been a real close family. When my Dad died in 1987 I stayed here to help my Mom. So for us to come back was the right thing. Vici is subing right now & the job prospects in Nevada are scarce. So we may have to return to Arizona next school year for her to work. She gets calls from different Arizona schools wanting her. She is also looking into Inyo & Mono counties Ca. We are only 100 miles from Bishop, 89 miles from Mammoth Lakes, 68 miles from Bridgeport. So if the family has ever needed to come together it is now. My brother & his wife moved to the Las Vegas Area late last year to be closer. So I grateful we are putting our differences aside & moving forward.
Family is a tough thing sometimes.
Bart I hope that you & your sister can mend your differences at some point & time, but I understand it is tough & takes work & willingness of both parties.
Sadly sometimes it just never happens.
