That is awesome. You could get a whole soccer team together.

My uncle has some Jack Russell Terriers that will chase a ball like that around all darn day. It is hilarious!

Just curious, weight/volume wise, how much meat did you get out of a single elk? I have a hunt coming up in December and I'm not sure I have enough freezer space.

Good afternoon everyone. Cool & breezy today. We got to around 59 degrees. Wife has a doctors appointment tomorrow so it will be an easy day for me.

it depends on how it is cut, I cut mine bone in so with a big cow you get about 300 pounds. with a butcher shop doing it about 250 bone in. the last one I had done at a butcher shop hung at about 400, when I picked up the meat there were 2 boxes of meat that were 2' X 2' X 1'. they kept a lot of it!
What hunt do you have?
mine starts a week from Friday.

oh no cutting is paid on hanging weight!
needless to say I now own a stainless Hobart commercial band saw, commercial grinder and a walk in cooler. I know how my meat is cut and where it all is.
