Sounds like my kind of weather kermmydog, im well insulated as it is haha I like the cold but I love the desert. Speaking of paints, I miss the old oil based polyurethanes, I was trying to re condition a wood floor at a customers house and all I could find was water based. Then I found some good stuff at an old lumber yard that this old timer had to pull off the shelf because its not legal anymore?. So he sells me the oil based poly and I put 2 coats down, all I have to say is if that stuff ever wears down or anything they will be changing the floor haha. It came out really nice, had the wet look but if you dropped a can of soup it wouldnt hurt the wood.

Good morning all. Thanks to those of you with b-day wishes. My wife and I had a good time.My mom and 1 of my sisters came out from SoCal,hadn't seen them in over a year, that was nice.TSA decided to pull me aside at McCarron for a secondary/random(their words)inspection.I guess my Stetson and cowboy boots threw up the red flag.I'll drive next time.

Good Afternoon Everyone.
You know what amazes me is that me & millions of othesr my age in our 60s are still alive. How we lived without child restraints, seat belts, lead paint, no warning label on our food, we ate dirt, drank water where ever when kids, peed outdoors, & on & on just amazes me.
I know what you mean the old paints lasted forever. That was the problem lots of things lasted forever & so people didn't have to buy crap so often. We live in an age where nothing lasts for long & BUY, BUY & BUY is the norm. That is why we are in the shape we are as a Country & World. Oh I forgot the economy is in good shape. Gold & Silver set another record HIGH, APMEX has it at $24.04 right now. Gold at $1373.70.

Steve, We refuse to get on a commercial airplane & have since they started all this crap. If more people would do the same there wouldn't be all that crap. The world would be a much better place in our opinion.

I dont know if thats a good sign or not kermmy, people are investing in gold, silver and oil alot more than companies that need the investors. Over a long enough period of time gold, oil and silver are only going to go up, all materials will go up because unless its synthetic the earth isnt making anymore of it. Lol.

It's the same reason I don't shop at China-mart.... EVER!!!!!! I'll pay an extra fifty cents or hell even an extra dollar-fifty and drive an extra five miles to not shop there.

Maybe they should test more than just target and walmart, of course it looks bad but ill tell you that they'll find the same **** at toys r us or any store. I dont think walmart manufactures the products that were tested, with all the crap they sell are they supposed to test everything? thats crazy. I handle lead everyday, hell sometimes I hold fishing weights with my lips while tieing a hook lol.
