I think the nastiest I ever worked on were those stupid IROCs.. A flimsier camero! LOL! You jack the dang things up, pop the hood, and it gets tweaked, making closing the hood a pain, and the passenger door nevere aligns right once you lift it from the rocker support. To make things worse, unbolting the exhaust manifold just to get to the starter! Uhg!
Well atleast sbc bolt in from the bottom lol. On the supra it took us a week to figure it out, I was about to pull the motor. We had to lube our arm and wedge it inbetween the motor, firewall and fender haha all we had was movement from the wrist and fingers and after about ten mins you would get arm pump and get stuck. God i hated that car!
i love my fords but none of them have a turbo.... yet :P

try and do a starter on a 4x4 dakota with the 5.2 magnum!
Yeah! it's friday!! Good Morning to Everyone
Good Evening Everyone.
Bill what is with a starter in a Dakota with a 5.2?
My Jeep GC 5.9 Limited is real easy to get to. That why I asked. I think my Blazer 4x4 is a tough starter to get out if I remember.
Got the roof done tonight. Just finished. So tomorrow we have a nice weather day before a storm moves in on Sunday so I'm getting my motorcycle out & head to Mammoth Lakes then to Bishop & back. A pre run for my trip to Arizona later this month.
it is the 66 but the stock tank was deleted long ago, they even did a good job filling the whole for the fuel neck. The problem I am having is they put a tank in the bed mounted up against the cab and the po said it was an early 70's saddle tank or aux tank but ive looked at over 800 pics of sending units but none look like mine. Mine is a sending unit with the fuel pickup all in one but I also think its from something fuel injected because it has 2 smaller tubes on it for fuel return and vent i think. It also bolts in with 5 screws and has a foam float. I tried to test it and it gave me nuthin so im on the hunt. Either i find one or I get another tank or fuel cell.
I have pics of the tank and I can get pics of the sending unit, if anyone has ANY ideas please let me know because ive been chasing my tail on this for a few months.
