Good Evening Everyone.
I worked all day on the house. Vici & I finished late & decided to go five blocks to the Casino & have dinner. On the way home five blocks The NHP (Nevada Highway Patrol) stops me. I didn't have my drivers license with me. He stops me across the street from where we stay. I had forgot my day runner. Anyway this A$$ writes me $102 ticket for no drivers license on me. I have an Arizona license if I remember Arizona doesn't require you by law to have it in possession as long as you have a valid license. I'm I correct in that? If so I'm going to go to court & fight it.
Yea, your right I just researched it. Arizona doesn't as a rule write tickets when they call in & you have a valid license. This guy was a A-Hole. He rode right on my A$$ down the street I switched lanes & used my turn signal & he said I was weaving & not maintaining my lane. But he was so up my butt he didn't see the turn signal. Nevada is were you come to be a cop if you can't be one anywhere else. They import cops that get fired in California.
I don't mind being stopped if I do something wrong. I don't even mind a ticket if I do something wrong. But this was clearly BS. When he couldn't find anything else he wrote that.
According to Nevada I'm not suppose to be convicted if I present a valid license that was valid at the time of the stop. But I'm sure it won't be that easy. They will justify some fee or fine. Nevada SUCKS. I need to come back to Arizona for awhile. To tell you how screwed up & liberal Nevada is, my insurance agent here told me that a lot of Nevada vehicle laws that many of us thought were being imported from California are not. That California is following Nevada & many of their screwed up laws were taken from Nevada. Now that was a shock. So, Nevada is worse that California when it comes to laws & screwed up laws.
