What Antiifreeze?

I want to change my coolant, what kind should I put in 2005 F-350 6.0?

Only use either the ford motocraft gold (sold at dealer only) or go to napa and get zerex g05. You will need 4 gallons.

I just switched to fleetrite ELC. Some people here said it had some good write ups. I had the motor apart so a good time to try it.

I am still a ways off from needing coolant, I am still sitting in the driveway a no-start.

I don't think this trick is in the tech folder:

If you have an early 2005 that has a fuel heater, unplug it and see if you can start.

Recommend reading through the below thread. I found it to be very informative on this subject. If you're still under warranty then you probably want to stay with the Ford Gold to prevent any warranty issues down the road. However, if you're no long under warranty, then you might want to consider a switch.
