I love my 05 with a 6.0. A diesel is more expensive to maintain but you have the pulling power, especially when on a steep grade. The 6.0 has its share of problems but there are many that have never had an issue. You must change he oil every 5,000 miles and fuel filters every 10,000. Stock 6.0's don't like power adders but IMO they don't need it. If you can buy a Ford ESP on it so if you have problems you can get them covered (depending on the plan).
